Krillion hints
Krillion on PlayTeal is an independent, fan-made tribute. Not affiliated with krillion.io. These hints are tiers of help. They never name a correct answer.
Use them when a prompt is open and the obvious word feels too shallow. Stop as soon as you have a real answer you can defend. Inventing a clever non-answer wastes the clock.
Hint tiers
- Surface. Say the example a classroom would shout. It will usually score as plankton. Submit it only if the timer is nearly gone.
- Narrow the kind. Decide whether the prompt wants a person, a place, a thing, or a type. A wrong kind cannot become a rare score.
- Drop the famous one. If millions of people share the first word, look for a true example from a smaller set: a position, a lesser-known member, a specific part.
- Check the fit. The rarer word still has to belong. A deep-cut score is an editor’s choice in this tribute, not a live poll, and a mismatch scores nothing.
- Spelling. Stay close to the ordinary spelling. Leetspeak and jokes are not how this game reads an answer.
Hints stop here on purpose. The answers page explains why there is no public key. Tips are the longer strategy guide for people who want to learn the mode, not escape a single prompt.
